At SSPDT, we support those who are less likely to participate and stay involved. Our Bagpipe Lending Scheme helps remove the financial barriers that can often prevent pupils, schools and community groups from getting started and progressing.

Our bagpipes are loaned for an initial period of four years, giving pupils the time they need to develop their skills, gain performance experience and become confident musicians without the immediate cost of purchasing an instrument.
To help young people work towards owning their own set of pipes, we encourage lerners to take part in our Music Enterprise Award.
A member of the team is always happy to discuss any instrument requirements for projects, we can support groups with the recycling of kit including exchanges between bands.
